God's love revealed

Whatever what situation you find yourself in there is one verse of scripture that will always penetrate your heart. A verse that will sum it all together to explain for you, how loved you are. A verse that will give you the reason of why you are here. A verse that is the center of the most profound message of God, that can be preached in any pulpit and on every street, to any heart, at anytime. I can only try to describe the love of God since there is no person on earth that can fully describe the unconditional love of God. There’s no mind that can fully apprehend God’s love. No one can measure his limitless love, his love is matchless and indescribable. Jesus described it the best! John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” GOD'S LOVE SAVES

God did not send Jesus to shame you, but to save you. God loves you and he loves you with a love that you’ll find impossible to grasp. There is no human love comparable to divine love. God would have sent his son into this world to die for you even if you were the only person on this earth. God so loves the world, he loves everyone personally, therefore he wants to become personal with you. He wants to reveal himself to you and have fellowship with you! You might be able to quote John 3:16 in your head, but it will only be theology unless you really understand that God loves you.

GOD'S LOVE IS PERSONAL

“For God so loved the world” is theology, but “For God so loved me” is a personal revelation from God. No preacher can fully preach God’s love, only God himself can reveal his great love for you! The bible says that the disciples were eyewitnesses of God’s majesty (2 Pet. 1:16). An eyewitness is a person who sees something happen and makes a statement about what he or she knows. I couldn’t really grasp the magnitude of God’s love until I personally experienced his love. I understood that if God could love me, despite what I’d done, he could love anyone. If you want to find out for yourself how much God loves you, ask him to reveal himself to you! 1 John 4:7-11 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” 1 John 4:16, 18-19 “And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.” If I would ask you the question: What is love? Maybe you would answer: Love is honesty and trust, or a mutual respect for one another. The connection of two hearts, or maybe a feeling? The bible’s answer on what love is, is different. Love is not that we loved, but that God loved us (even if we didn’t love him back). Love is not described as a feeling or an action, but as a person. God himself is love. Only an encounter with God can give you the perspective of God’s love! Jeremiah 31:3 “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” God is love, so love has no beginning and no end. God’s love is outside time and space. It’s God’s unchanging nature. Therefore God loves you no matter what. He loved you even before you were born. He loved you when you rebelled against him. He loved you when you hated him. He has always loved you and nothing can stop him from loving you. His love is everlasting and unconditional. He has always loved you and will always love you. There’s nothing you can do to make God love you more or less and there’s nothing that can separate you from the love of God. Even when you took your eyes off of God, God never took his eyes off of you. Even when you turned your back against God, God never gave up on you. He sent his son to die for you even when you were a sinner because he continually loves. He reconciled you when you ran away from him, and demonstrated his love toward you while you mocked Him. God has always loved you, he loves you now, and will always love you! This is love! We love because he first loved us! You’re not loved more or less because of what you’ve done, you’re just simply loved because you are created by God and the only reason why you can love is because God loved you first.

GOD'S LOVE CHANGES YOU

God has called you to love your neighbors as you love yourself, but how can you love your neighbor if you don’t love yourself? And how can you love yourself if you don’t know that you are loved? Get to know how loved you are by God and your life will be completely changed! There's no one that wants to grieve a God that continually loves. Who would want to grieve someone who has never done anything but to love? Receive God's love today, he wants to embrace you. Don't run from him anymore but run to his open arms! Jesus said: "the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." Give God your burdens today and surrender your life to him!

LET GOD REVEAL HIS LOVE TO YOU

Don’t you ever think that you can’t experience God’s love because of what you’ve done. To say that you are an exception to God’s love is actually equal to slander God. God’s love is not based on what you’ve done. It’s not because of who you are but because of how good God is! It’s not because of what you’ve done, but because of what God has done. He loved you so much that he sent his son Jesus Christ to let you know how loved you are! The apostle Paul said “I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Gal. 2:20b). Your life will be transformed by knowing how much God loves you. You will talk differently, you will listen differently, you will think differently, you will see things differently, you will act differently! You will live by the faith in the love of God! God’s love changes you from the inside out! You’re not an exception, you are included in God’s love plan!

Don’t let your emotions control you. Your emotions will fail you and you will not always feel worthy to be loved, but what has you being worthy have anything to do with God’s unconditional love? You might not even feel like you are ready to receive God’s love right now, but to God it doesn’t matter. God will let the sun rise even if you don't want it to, he will let the rain fall on the earth even if you don’t want it to, and he will love you even if you’re not ready for it. God’s love will never fail! God won’t love you more just because you are a good christian. Let’s say you’ve had a good week, you arrived early to church, left late, topped off the offering, brought friends with you and had your arms up in the air during the whole worship. That won’t make God love you more even though you have a smug warm feeling about yourself. On the other hand maybe you didn’t even go to church one week but you were out doing all kind of crazy bad things, but that won’t make God love you less! Even though you may feel like God loves you more or less depending on how you act, God won’t. God’s love is always on the top of the peak! Just because you are changing and having your ups and downs doesn’t mean that God’s love changes. God is the Lord he change not (Mal. 3:6). Let God heal you! Let him save you! He loves you, don't miss out on his love! Life is to precious to just let life fly by. Life without God is a waste of time. Receive him now, you'll never know what tomorrow will bring. You will never know what tomorrow will look like or if there will even be a tomorrow. If you would die right now, are you sure you are making it to heaven? If you don't know God today, you can get to know by simply praying:

“God, I come to you in Jesus’ name. I am a sinner, forgive me of my sin God. I believe in my heart, what I confess with my mouth. Jesus took my sin and sickness and died on the cross. He rose from the dead to redeem me. I receive Jesus right now as my Lord and Savior. My sins are forgiven, my body and my heart is made whole. I am born again!"
